So…what does one do during a visit to Palm Springs area? Susie Reese suggested that a visit to a gay bar might be fun.
I concurred and we were off to BLACKBOOK for a pre-theatre stop and Susie’s first ever visit to a gay mecca. Aside from some dreadful nachos, we enjoyed terrific street tacos, Hendrick’s gin martinis (my weakness) and white wine (her preference).
A heap of pleasant conversation with amiable guys at the bar ensued. An air of conviviality wafted throughout our surroundings. Connections. Friendships. Fun stuff!
